13th Penal Legion

I don't have a list for this; which is why I'm asking about it. My youngest has recently taken an interest in this series of books by BL (which is part of reason I've gotten back into 40K), and that had me wondering if anyone had done an army list for it. Or if GW had done an a list for them (which I would doubt).

Schaeffer's Last Chancers has a neat little article on wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/13th_Penal_Legion#.UE1Meo2PWvN, and it says the old Chapter Approved 2001 has some info. I think I remember it, and it seems like it gave rules for the characters at that time. Of course those rules are way out of date, if they are there.

There is also the IG Penal Troopers in the IG codex. I have fought a really cool penal legion army (it used grots) before, and while not the outright most competitive list, it wasn't bad. A lot of fun to play with and against for sure.

A quick search found a few lists on google. Not an IG player though, have no idea what would be good or not, themed or not. I did notice though most had at least 1 regular infantry squad along with the penal squads, and ratlings and scouts.
