Keeping with short stories for now, this month's book will be:
Shadows of Treachery
This is an anthology of short stories set throughout the Horus Heresy timeline and is the 22nd book in the Horus Heresy series. It is my understanding that past the first 4 books, you won't be thrown too off if at all by reading the books out of sequence, though I can also see that some of these short stories might mean more if you had read the appropiate novels beforehand. I dont anticipate it being any problem though for those who want to participate in this month's book club.
Enjoy!

It was pretty good. I was very interested in Raven's flight, as I am in a love-hate with Corax. And lightning tower and dark are repeats,I will comment more as I dig into the books a little more. I give it three out of five for repetitious material but it is completely worth it if you have never had the opportunity to read them and even if you have I'd buy it again for the other great stories.

I thought "Raven's Flight" was the best from what I've read. The "Silversmith" was pretty good as well - but only because I got the references atthe very end of the story. I doubt anyone coming in brand new to the Horus Heresy would of gotten it.
Anyway, still working my way through the stories - actually stopped to start reading Soul Hunter. More later I'm sure though!
