I found a box of these on sale, so I am wondering
Do you use them?
Now that the stealth field is better, Are they worth taking over broadsides in the heavy slots?

I still don't like them myself. They provide a little firepower, but you are really removing one of the biggest draws of tau, which is the Railgun by taking them. It is really only because they aren't Broadsides or Hammerheads that I really don't like them.

The biggest problem with them in 6th edition seems to be the single point of failure that is the spotter. Between barrage weapons, precision shots, and mobile firing platforms (bikes, speeders, etc), it is entirely too easy to take out the spotter and then, since he has the drone controller, all the sniper drones auto-destruct.
